In 1924 on the 500th anniversary of Zizka's death, the City of Trebic decided to commemorate this anniversary in imperishable memory of this celebrated military commander by piling up granite stones to erect a tumulus in 'Hradek'. The tumulus is located near the ruins of a medieval bastion, on the spot where according to legends Zizka pitched his tent.
